Welcome to Fall-O-Ween

How did we get here?

That's a question I've asked myself once or twice already... but alas, here we are, and like most projects I'm sure it will be in fits and starts.

Liz and I met in college - we lived just a few floors away, and had a lot of common friends. One thing that made us fast friends was our shared love of fall, the autumn season and Halloween. We were always the first of our friends group to decorate and the first to sign us all up to go to the local haunted forest!

We've lived in different states for several years now, and have spent quite a bit of time traveling back and forth visiting ... me going to Nebraska and her coming to Seattle. We decided we needed to find a new way to connect and that came to life this year when she flew to Seattle and we hopped in a car to see the autumn that Oregon presents. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. This is a space to share all the nitty gritty details (and our own accounts) of our trip... but also to prep and prepare for our next one, the one after that, and after that...
